Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ teaser on Flipkart may have leaked the pre-order date

NEW DELHI: South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch its next generation flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at MWC 2018,
in Barcelona, Spain. The company has scheduled an event for February 25. However, Indian e-commerce player Flipkart has started teasing the upcoming Galaxy S9 series of smartphones
Last year also Samsung exclusively tied up with Flipkart for the sale of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The Indian e-tailer has a seperate 9OnFlipkart Store which hints that the smartphones will come to India soon after the launch. It is also expected that the smartphones are expected to go on pre-order in the country starting February 25.


As per speculations, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are said to come with Infinity Edge display same as the one found in Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The Galaxy S9 is expected to come with 5.8-inch Quad HD+ display with 2960 × 1440 pixels resolution, while the Galaxy S9+ is expected to come with 6.2-inch Quad HD+ display. The screen is said to protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The handsets are said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is said to come with 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S9+ is expected to come with 6GB of RAM. The devices are also said to come with IP68 rating which makes the devices dust and water resistant.


The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is expected come in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Lilac Purple, Coral Blue colors. The Galaxy S9 is said to backed by a 3000mAh battery and the Galaxy S9+ is claimed to come with 3500mAh battery. Both devices are expected to support both fast and wireless charging.
